Collage

This is my newest project—it began as play and evolved into something much more. In this work, I combine elements of collage with colored pencil and paint to create magical compositions. This process has inspired me to write poetry and tell stories through mixed media.

I've developed my own form of "quilting," where I piece together various scraps to narrate visual stories. By incorporating different artists and materials, I create conversations within the work—giving discarded or overlooked items a new life and meaning.
